"To see the book hang together the way it does is pretty remarkable, especially knowing Kiran. I'm kind of in love with the book. It's a precious little book and I don't think there's anything quite like it that I've seen" - Jared Sinclair

THIS GAME IS IN PRINT!! CONISDER GO GETTING IT AT https://www.exaltedfuneral.com/products/fragments-from-the-ludography-of-chester...

This is a collection of game design bits and ends. It's got some pbta, it's got some bob (or ndnm, more precisely), a bunch of random d6 tables, a lyric game, and a character background for a game i won't specify but rhymes with Spoika.

Interdimensional cartographer. Heterodox theologian. Renegade game designer.

Such was the life and legacy of Chester G. Saltmarsh. Born in the 19th Century (or rather, a 19th century——he would go on to experience many others), he lived a long and varied life. He spent years as a servant in the courts of both the Gods Above and Below, and amongst those years of service he wandered the Worlds Between, writing countless games as he travelled.

One day, while visiting the Academy of Immaterial Sciences for a matter of business I am not at liberty to divulge, I received a manila folder containing some scraps of paper—all that has been found of Saltmarsh’s vast body of work.

I present to you now for your reading pleasure a series of the most notable contents of that folder, curated, reformatted and tastefully edited for your convenience.

Truth be told, it was these works that inspired me in my current endeavour as a game designer and I hope you too will be inspired by them.

Yours Truly,

Kiran Gill (Archivist and Curator)
Jared Sinclair (Editor and Dutiful Capitaliser)

I love metafictional ideas like this! If you have any inspirations do tell. Maybe Borges?
